Palestinian growers interested in exporting goods to European markets have chosen Agrexco as their preferred exporter.
Since the 1980’s Agrexco has provided these farmers with export and marketing services for an array of agricultural produce grown in the Gaza Strip.
Gazan farmers are members of co-operatives working together with the Palestinian Authority’s Ministry of Agriculture, providing growers with necessary guidance, as well packaging and quality control services.
Simultaneously, the cooperative also meets Agrexco’s demand of making sure that all produce receives EUREPGAP certification.
Products currently marketed include cut flowers, strawberries, cherry tomatoes and vine tomatoes – marketed under the distinctive Coral brand name
Goods passed across the border are collected under Agrexco’s auspices. Agrexco then handles refrigeration, storage, ground, air and sea transportation, as well as documentation, marketing and sales to market destinations in East and West Europe. Agrexco ensures that revenue is directly transferred to the co-operatives.
The name Coral stands for quality. (registered and owned by Agrexco).
Coral fresh produce has been well received in markets throughout Europe.
